Vintage NASA and Arm & Hammer Birds Trade Cards Auctions October 18, 2009
On Sunday October 18th, Life’s Little Joys Postcards n’ More will be putting up 30 vintage 1960’s NASA trade cards featuring astronauts, spacecraft and capsules from the Gemini, Apollo and Mercury space missions. We are also offering many early 1900’s Arm & Hammer bird trade cards by Church & Dwight. The bird cards are from Series No. 4, and the Useful Birds of America Sixth and Seventh Series.
We should be posting these auctions between 9:00 and 10:00 pm EST on Sunday October 18th.
Early 1900’s letters from Antioch College and Kent State. October 18, 2009
We will be listing many letters dating from 1911 – 1922 on Sunday, October 18th through out the evening. The majority of these letters were sent by J. Perry Miller, a professor at Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio to his family in Dighton and Belmont in Massachusetts and Kent, Ohio. Mr. Miller talks about his daily life happenings, stories about Christmas visits and some tales about the “epidemic”.
